Horrid Henry is a book made up of four stories. It is written by Francesca Simon and it is illustrated by Tony Ross.
Horrid Henry is a children’s fiction book for the ages 4 to 10 years. Horrid Henry can be read by adult to children and just children.
This book is about a boy called Horrid Henry. He was mean to everyone .When his parents take him to school they always walk behind him so people think he’s not theirs.
When Henry walks past somebody at school people say “He’s the boy who threw my jacket in the mud “or “That’s Horrid Henry, he’s the boy who squashed Billy’s beetle.”
Henry was mostly mean to his brother Perfect Peter. Perfect Peter was very nice. He said “Please” and “thank you”. Perfect Peter loved vegetables. Perfect Peter used a hankie and never ever picked his nose. “Why can’t you be like Perfect Peter?” says Henry’s Mum every day.
I like this book because it’s cool, it’s funny and it teaches you
to be nice to others, otherwise you know what will happen!
